About Me
My name is Katie and I have been providing counselling since 2013.
My work has been with female and male adults 18+ predominately in the criminal justice setting.
This led to me becoming a published Author of Two Counsellors Wandering Around A Prison, which focuses on my work within a male prison.
My experience has been extensive in the areas of
- Borderline Personality Disorder (you can read how I work with this diagnosis on my blog page).
- Identifying and regulating emotions.
- Exploring attachment and relationships
- Processing trauma.
I believe, how you are feeling now does not define you.
It may feel to you that it does.
You may be thinking that you can not see it changing.
Whether you are feeling low in mood,
experiencing anxiety. Going through a bereavement. Having difficulties in your relationships or you just do not know where to start.

What I Offer
I work with adults 18+, I provide a space for you to explore how you are feeling.
​​
I am trained in Person Centred, Transactional Analysis and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.
I blend these approaches in our sessions which enables me to explore with you a range of issues, including
Depression
Anxiety
Relationships
Trauma
Abuse
Bereavement
Attachment
Personality Disorders
Low self esteem

Fees

£50.00 per session payable by cash or bank transfer.
​
​Sessions are offered on a weekly or fortnightly basis, depending on what works best for you.
I offer flexible times Monday to Friday
My working hours are 9am to 8:30pm
​
Sessions are offered face to face and online by whats app video​.
